1 hour 1-on-1 Consultation

A new form of physical therapy. Giving you the tools to take control of your injury and spend less time in physical therapy and more time enjoying the sport you love. You can expect an evaluation at your first appointment, followed by continuous re-evaluations at each subsequent appointment. Your treatment plan will likely include a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and education, all designed to improve your strength, reduce pain, and ultimately improve your running ability.

I offer both in-person and virtual appointments, giving you flexibility in how you receive your treatment. Whether you choose to visit the clinic in person or virtually, you can expect a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals. I am confident in treating running specific injuries, addressing training errors, sports injuries, back pain, joint pain, plantar fasciitis, pre/post operative rehab, as well as many other lower body injuries.

Slow motion Running Analysis

Think of this as a full 1-on-1 consultation PLUS a slow motion running assessment. Utilizing two slow motion cameras to capture how your joints move in space to help visualize areas of force while you run. We will assess things like foot strike, trunk position, arm swing, cadence, and bounce. These variables provide valuable insights into your gait mechanics and identify areas for improvement.

In addition to the running analysis, you get a full evaluation (1-on-1 consultation). The full appointment takes 2-3 hours and once everything is complete, you are sent home with a PDF that highlights all aspects of your gait mechanics and a summary of the findings with suggestions on how to improve them to reach your running goals.

Run & Strength coaching

With your goals, schedule, life, and other commitments in mind, I create a program tailored to help you reach your full potential.

We start with a 45-60 minute virtual chat where I get to know your existing routine, your current abilities, and what your goals are. Then, with the information gathered, I create a personalized 4 week program including running and/or strength workouts. After that, it is up to you to complete the workouts.

Each week, I will send a check in email and that is your opportunity to talk about what went well and what didn’t go so well. With that information I can make weekly adjustments to the plan as needed based on your previous performance. Coaching is a completely virtual experience.

Lifestyle Coaching

This is designed for the person who doesn’t know where to start. Someone who has no history of exercise and would like to start implementing healthier changes into their lift.

This is a completely virtual package. An initial virtual call is scheduled to gather information and following the call, a 4 week program is designed with the goal of implementing healthy habits into your life. A weekly check in email is sent and this is your opportunity to mention what went well and what didn’t go well. That information allows me to make changes to your schedule.

This program is only offered at a 12 week length because that is the minimum length of time required to build a lasting habit. Coaching is a completely virtual experience.

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in treating runners. This means I went to a 4 year college followed by a 3 year doctoral program. After graduating I spent a few years on my own being mentored in the field of running.

No I do not. Patient centered treatment is the ultimate goal. While receiving therapy, you will receive nothing less than the highest quality of care, performed only by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your care will never be handed to an aide or assistant. To ensure patient centered treatment and not insurance driven treatment, we are an out-of-network provider for all insurances. This means you will pay a set rate for each treatment received. You may be able to submit your bills to your insurance provider as an out-of-network expense. Because we do not operate under insurance regulations, we are able to personalize and tailor each session specifically for you and your goals. If you have questions regarding financial benefits of an out-of-network provider, please do not hesitate to email to set up a free phone consultation.

It may seem odd, but they work just like in-person appointments. If I need to see you move or perform an activity, I will have you place the camera in a place I can see you do the movement. As for running analysis, if you have an iphone or a phone that can shoot slow motion video, you are given detailed instructions on how to record the video and once you do, you send it over and we get started!
